Our verdict
The notes app for people who want to own their notes for decades. It starts simple and grows with plugins, but sync between devices costs extra unless you set it up yourself.
Good
- Notes are plain Markdown files you own
- Huge plugin library
- Fast search and linking between notes
Not so good
- Sync is a paid add-on
- Plugins can become a rabbit hole
